What a fun celebration we had! This age is marvellous. You can still be a kid yet you are creeping ever so quickly to the great big world of being a teenager. I absolutely love that she asked for toys for her birthday; she’s still my baby Raimy. Although, to prove that I am good with her growing up and encouraging her to embrace the wonderful world of being 12 I suggested that she and her friends get their nails done at the salon. It was great to watch them all light up at the thought of choosing their own colors and designs. After they were all done up I brought them back to the house for a tween-ager chick-flick about mermaids especially hand picked by the birthday girl herself. So much fun!
