In third person he calls me “My wife.” It gives me butterflies every time I hear it.
We were pronounced Man and Wife over thirteen years ago. That is why I call him, “My Man.”
The slow grown feelings finally found root next to the deep waters in my heart. The twisting and twining has never stopped. What is the name of that lovers seed, that couples seed, that was pressed deep in our soil by the thumb of the Master? Nameless, it is. Timeless, it is. Matchless, it is with one exception. The Bride and her Husband-man: the eternal epic. The story of Once Upon a Time that ends in Ever After. That is the wooing every heart hears drawing them to the feast of Love, Heaven’s bounty. Priceless yearning is God’s I-Love-You times infinity.
This post and the following snap shots of our undying Friday Night date ritual is dedicated to My Man, DaRonn Washington. I love you, Babe!

You guys are such a cute couple! Even after thirteen years!
ha! Now I remember the picture on the chair in the livingroom. I love you too babe. Hey it is almost Friday night.
Love, love, love it. You guys have a great time tonight. There´s nothing like a good dose of a good hubby to make everything better.
How funny, I posted on our date nights too and hadn’t even checked your blog! Aren’t date nights wonderful, essential and just the best thing since ice cream!
I thought that was very interesting that we were on the same wave length in this. Great minds think alike, right? Or we could say: great bloggers blog alike!
This is really lovely, and inspiring. Great to see! You are both very blessed
I would like this could be truth in my life, in my marriage…
May God give us it as a blessing
Hope we both were ready for it…
Happy you dear Pastors!!
Elizabeth, muchas gracias por tus palabras bonitas. Espero que van a estar con nosotros miércoles a las 7:30PM en la iglesia para la reunión de matrimonios.
