We have been offered a wonderful opportunity. At the end of September a time for ministers at a retreat center near Estes Park, Colorado is being hosted by our home church. We have been invited to attend. It will be so good for just DaRonn and me to get away to be refreshed and built up.
We need some wheels.
If you or someone you know would be willing to lend us a vehicle that would be great. Our flights are not arranged yet, so we can coordinate where we need to fly into and all that. Even if it is in one of the states that border Colorado we are willing to make the drive in and then back again to return the vehicle. Mo, it was so weird last night. Through the wonder that is facebook DaRonn saw on Alece’s status something about odd trash cans in the airport. He sent a quick comment on her status asking which airport she was in. Of course she said ATL. He was in the same airport on a layover on his way to KCI!!! Ends up she was in the B concourse and he was in the C concourse (or something like that). She was about to board. He hightailed it over to where she was and just missed her. He saw the last few people getting onto her plane. Such a small world, ya know? I wonder if we might somehow “run into” each other next month…
