Vacation season that is. Which, by the way, I need one, but that is not what I am writing about.
The judge overseeing our adoption is on vacation. She is out of the office until the 16th of July. I don’t blame her. It is winter break here so she might have had kids out of school that she wanted to enjoy. Or she just might have needed a break. For a few months now she has been doing double the work since the other judge resigned and has not been replaced. One judge overseeing all social justice cases for minors in a district of about 800,000 inhabitants is no small task.
Meanwhile, we wait. It’s ok. We will make sure that all of our paperwork is in order so that when she comes back all raring to go nothing will impede continuing on with the process. I do hope that she comes back well rested and ready to work. I am also hoping that she is not backlogged with tons of cases.
We miraculously made all the deadlines in the 30 day window that was given to us for the month of June. So, I think we can expect miraculous results for this next step. You can join me in praying that things go smoothly and that our case is tended to promptly and in a favorable way. Thanks.

Bug soup! So I won’t get to meet the little one in person! But will still keep praying for LOADS of favor in the rest of this process!!
Livvy Lu – I know you were really counting on that. Thanks for the prayers!
I’m more disappointed in your wait in not getting to meet her in person! It was going so quick and smoothly!! Who knew vacation time would sneak up on ya so quickly and put it’s lovely brakes on the process.
Must be you’re to rest up and relax with the family prior to this big adjustment!! I will pray that God gives you fun times together that make the time go faster!!
P.S. Really love the video clip from UP!! Too funny! I especially like that you started the clip at Gramp’s hearing aid whistling! I can SOOOO relate!! hahaha!!

Thumbuddy – Thanks. I love you too.
Ah, delays. Sit back, turn up the music, and wait on the Lord. Works for me in traffic.
Hugs!
