I don't have kids ... but I have cats. I sometimes think cats are giving us a picture of our fleshly nature, and how we look to God sometimes. Perhaps one day I'll expound on everything they do.

'More time.' yeah! Don't we all? And at 9?! Michelle commented on one of her blogs about asking God to order your day. That's been turning around in me. I think I like it. :D

Alece - that is nice of you to say, friend

Carin - yes, humility is the key

Roxx - family dynamics are so intricate; we hold each other

I am with Timothy on "more time".
Thanks for the reminder to be humble and aware.
I have been trying to think of a good approach to character building with my own son about his attitude, and recently I was reminded that I should look at my own attitude first. Then on further reflection I realized that if I have a hard time working on my own attitude, I should be sensitive to his struggle to work on his.
Humility, ugh!

I so appreciate how you get that we are ALL in our own classroom of life. And while we need to be responsible parents, interacting with your children who are behaving like children are not just teaching opportunities for them, but us as well. Most certainly my expereiences as a mother encourage me to look in my own soul as I hold my children to the right path.

Bless you dear friend,
R
