Here are the measurements, if you want them. Pictured above are the bits for a halved recipe.
Guacamole
(Makes about 2 ¾ cup)
Ingredients:
2 large ripe avocados, mashed
2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped (1 1/2 cup)
1 medium onion, finely chopped (1/2 cup)
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
Mix it all together. Cover. Refrigerate 1 hour to blend flavors.
I love to eat Guacamole but have never made it myself. Actually, it does not sound too difficult. Especially if you have a food processor, which I don’t.
Mmmmm…me gusta guacamole!
It’s seems to me that in Chile it was called something else. But I can’t quite remember what it was called.
Is is called Guacamole in Bolivia?
Ahhhh, that looks delightful! I love Guacamole but have yet to make a good batch of it myself. It’s always ok, just not quite right. I’m going to give your recipe a try soon and see if it’s the one we’ve been looking for!
I made this over the weekend and it was by far the best Guac I have ever made. It was fantastic! We had friends over Friday night and they aren’t big fans of guacamole but they tried it and ate more than I did!! It was fresh, creamy and delish….. Thanks for the recipe!

It looks so good, but no way to share
Sorry for the confusion.
We have an avocado tree in our yard, so I make all varieties of guacamole! My fave recipe has cumin in it, isn’t that funny.
Mo – That is some serious guac’ love!
Jutta – Chopping and mixing is so much fun for me… I don’t have a food processor because I don’t want to miss out on those.
Brandy – It is called guacamole here.
Darla – Fiesta!
Beth – The quality of ingredients makes a huge difference.
Carin – No worries.
