I loved that the kids were all spread out doing their thing, that was great.
You guys have a lot of space and a lot of storage It’s great how it’s like a “Christ Nation Ministries” compound. I’d love to hear the story of how you found the property, it seems just perfect for you guys. Is it perfect for you?
Your appliances are so tiny. That was the only surpising thing to me.
Thumbuddy – The appliances look tiny because the space is so huge. It is an optical illusion. Ha! Actually they are really small. We are upgrading bit by bit. The property is perfect for right now. We are dreamers and schemers so I don’t see us here forever. The orphanage used to be where we are having the school starting this year. It is good that the orphanage has a great big place. We hope that the church grows to needing a nice big place of it’s own. We also hope the school will outgrow where it is at. Finally for our family we are also hoping to get a bigger house type place. Like I said, where we are now is perfect for us now. I hope that makes sense. Oh, and just for you I will tell about how we landed the place we are at in another blog. Good idea.
Roxx – C’mon over! You know you are welcome any time. And bring your crew with you too.
Mom – I thought you would like that.
Alece – Large rooms are typical for the places belonging to the more affluent. That sounds snobbish. All I can say is thank you to God for putting us in a spacious place. Oh, and the screeching tires are a common sound here.
Wow! Thanks for sharing! Many things look the same as here….same type of stove, same water dispenser, same type of flooring! I need to start doing this, you are inspiring me to vlog!
Blessings,
Joy
Angie I love your vlogs. Kelsey and I were watching them and when you were talking to Raimy she said she wanted to be a farmer. Kelsey wants to be a farmer too, she has for years. Kels loves the outside and working in the garden! Every year we increase the size of our garden and look forward to everything in it! My aunt who has a larger piece of land recently received 6 chickens to raise and 3 bee hives on her property to collect honey from. We have been helping and learning so when we have our own home we are able to do the same maybe minus the bee hives. When the bee keeper came over to place the hives on her property one of the bees flew right into my hair and got stuck for about 2 minutes. It was really funny/scary. I wanted to scream and run but the bee keeper said don’t move and I didn’t. My aunt had to move all my hair around because he was tangled all in my hair. A very eventful day. I think it is great to see our girls enjoying nature so much. I have been enjoying your comments and thoughts through your journey with adoption. What an amazing and wonderful chapter you and your family are beginning. The objects you use with your stove in your vlog, we call them here in Missouri gas tanks. We use the same things for our barbecue grills outside but we don’t have to run down a guy in a truck, we can get them at gas stations. That story was great. Although Angie I will admit I have run really really fast down the street to catch the ice cream man! I have many times, they have one type of ice cream that you can’t get anywhere else. I am laughing the whole way to the ice cream truck because I can’t believe I am really doing this but what a treat when I catch him! Well, tell Raimy Kelsey says hello and hope you guys have a wonderful weekend! We will have to get together sometime and hang out with our girls, that would be a great time!!!
Sarah, thanks for your comment. I need to do a vlog. I haven’t done one in a while. I imagine that I will have much to vlog about with our new addition coming along so so so so soon. So excited! Please tell Kelsy I say hello back. That would be great to get the girls together.

so great to see where you live life. i can’t get over how large all the rooms are! is that typical?
(i couldn’t help but giggle at the screeching tires as you turned into your gate. i’d guess that’s a common noise there!)

How fun. Your life is so different from mine and yet so similar in so many ways. It’s nice to hear your voice!
Beth – I would love to here examples of the similarities and the differences.
Yeah, I feel at home already.
Has the bank added more gates/fencing? Or maybe they just painted it a different color? It threw my memory for a loop!
In just a few short months I’ll be there walking along side of ya! How fun!!
