As the oldest of five I always had someone to play with growing up. Some of my best memories are of children laughing as we played games such as: White Elephant Bingo, Erf, Speed, Hearts, Skee Ball and Air Hockey. Now that I am grown I still love playing games. A few of my childhood games have morphed and popped up here on line. Today on my blog I am going to be playing: Tag and Scattergories. Mo (Maureen is her name but she goes by Mo and that is just cool) and Stephanie (aka Steph-Steph-bo-Beph) ‘tagged’ me on their blogs so that I would play along. Technically I am supposed to ‘tag’ other people, but those who have played Monopoly with me when I was the banker know that I tend to bend the rules for a more fun game. So I am not going to specifically tag anyone. I am just going to say that anyone who wants to play along can, either on their own blog or here in the comment box.
TAG:
The Bendables (aka Rules): Share 7 random facts about yourself.
- I used to have a Smiley Face collection including: t-shirts, pins, stickers and a mug.
- When I was 18 I was in Australia was standing in a tattoo parlor with money in hand thumbing through the book of designs with some friends. If anyone else in the group had actually gotten one I would have too. But no one else wanted to, so I didn’t either.
- Before I got married I wanted to have a dozen kids.
- I wear glasses for close up work. The eye doctor told me that because I have blue eyes and I live so close to the sun that my eyes were damaged. While I have 20/20 vision I need to help my eyes so they don’t get so tired doing close up work.
- My beverage of choice for when I am flying is V-8 (or tomato juice).
- I do not own an iPod.
- Someday I hope to go on an air balloon ride.

We grow old because we stop playing.”

Love it! My personal favorite: An anteater ate my alarm clock.
Also: I hate V8. And I inherited my hubby’s ipod. Still haven’t done anything with it.
And: So how many kids do you want to have NOW?
Steph Steph Bo Beph
@Steph Steph Bo Beph – I don’t so much like V-8 if I am not actually thousands of feet above the ground speeding along at ghastly speeds in a metal tube. To answer your question… DaRonn and I decided on five names for our children during our engagement. The four that we have so far have followed our plan nicely (girl – boy – girl – boy). The only one left is a little girl we plan to adopt. And the orphanage we run makes up for any desires I may have for more kiddos.

Let’s see…
“If growing up means it would be beneath my dignity to climb a tree I’ll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up; not me.”
