Revamping

Our ministry site has been revamped!

Our ministry web page is designed by none other than my multi-talented husband DaRonn Washington. (Yeah, applause, cheering!) Most of what he has learned has been by trial and error and people telling him how to fix what was wrong. All in all he does a great job of keeping the information current and the elements interesting. I help with some writing of the articles and some of the grammar checking, oh and I take a bunch of pictures. But he writes the codes, uploads the videos, formats the photos, etc. And that is for the English and the Spanish site. Between the two there are 14,568 files. We know because we had to change servers recently due to the oversize load on the previous one. As of late he has been introducing some flashy stuff. Tonight DaRonn said, “There are so many things hidden throughout the site that it is like finding buried treasure when someone is clicking through.” I thought you might like to go check it out.

Feedback is welcome here in the comment section or through the contact tab on the site. I am so proud of my husband!

Go DaRonn! It looks really great…

I really like the tab bar on the bottom right… the way each item slides open to see more…

just FYI… for some reason the links wouldn’t open for me

@Amy – Thanks for peeking in over there. :-) Which links wouldn’t open? The links on my blog or the links on the site? And, what browser do you use?

Websites like that are one of the MANY reasons you have pictures of your hubby running 3 laptops all at one time!! If our military and government got done as much as DaRonn in a day we would be cutting edge in EVERYTHING! To put in Olympic terms…since it tis the season…I give DaRonn a gold!!! Now the question is…is it counted as a USA Gold or Bolivian??? Tee hee hee!!!

Way cool!!

RE your comments on PBZ’s blog: Great minds think alike cuz I did that same thing!! Although I had to look at the picture for 2-3 times before I saw the cross!! I hope that doesn’t mean something…

Wow, what an amazing job by you both, yay DaRonn for all his hard work. I just looked at your bio/sliding timeline and it is so good! My favourite part was seeing the pictures of you growing up, and of your wedding, your gorgeous babies, and then wonderful photos of your ministry in Bolivia. So lovely to get to know you and your family a little better through this, and I’ll look forward to visiting your site again. Love and hugs.

@Birgit – Thank you so much. I am glad that you liked the timeline. Old photos are so fun to look at.

@Danielle – I will tell him you said so.

@Libs – Yay for the gold! :-) About the art on http://www.brianzahnd.com … I think that the artist intended it to be unpronounced and cause you to take a second look. There is really a mountain I could say about that piece…
