Hmmmm …. eat? Well, I remember Mom saying that she had to have huge punishments for me and my brother David because we were prone to pick up other people’s gum stuck on the street and eat it. But I do remember loving any and all things silky. But that’s a texture.

i once ate mushrooms in our front yard, at my brother’s prompting. this was followed by a trip to the ER, and a permanent dislike for fungus.
The siblings are in cahoots… brothers are the best aren’t they?
Annie – As a kid I was always curious about the gum under the chairs at church when it was our family’s turn to clean.
Alece – We had to take my brother’s friend to the ER when he was over at our house spending the night and he swallowed some pennies… somehow I know my brother was involved. Glad you survived your close encounter with the fungus kind. yikes!

We often ate american cheese and ketchup on white bread. Kind of tasted like McDonald’s burgers.

Natalie – McDonalds just doesn’t taste the same as when I was a kid. Maybe if I tried your recipe I would have some good flashbacks.
we used to eat the wild rhubarb that grew in the neighbors back yard. i also made my younger brother eat other things we found in the yard… tree bark, weeds and plant parts come to mind. he was a sickly child. my partents never knew why. he he
Daniel – we used to eat the wild rhubarb in my grandparent’s yard. Reminds me of the “Rhubarbarians” on Veggie Tales Jonah the movie.
Again with the brotherly love. Ha! And he just went along with it. Tree bark? Yuck.
